Tropac Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Tropac Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Tropac Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Some people find the bright light (such as daylight) uncomfortable for a few hours after receiving Tropac Eye Drop which may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Tropac Eye Drop is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tropac Eye Drop may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Tropac Eye Drop is used in eye examination and uveitis.It is especially used in adults.

How to use Tropac Eye Drop
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Tropac Eye Drop works
Tropac Eye Drop is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions.

Expert advice for Tropac Eye Drop
Tropac enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults. It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
