Tocin-F Eye Drop is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Tocin-F Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.To reduce the amount of Tocin-F Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Tocin-F Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.

How to use Tobramycin
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Do not use tobramycin if you are allergic to it or any other component in the formulation.
Driving and using machinery should be avoided in cases where tobramycin usage causes dizziness or eye drops cause blurring of vision.
Do not mix or dilute your tobramycin with any other medicine in your nebulizer.
If you are taking several different treatments for cystic fibrosis, you should take them in the following order: bronchodilator (e.g. salbutamol), then chest physiotherapy, followed by inhaled medicines, and then tobramycin.
Do not use contact lenses when on treatment with tobramycin eye drops.
If you are using more than one eye drop, keep a gap of at least 5-10 minutes between two different eye drops.
Doctor’s advice should be considered in case of patients with following history of disease conditions: neuromuscular disorders such as parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis (characterized by movement disorders and/or muscle weakness); coughing up blood in your sputum; kidney problem.

Your doctor has prescribed Fluorometholone to treat inflammation (redness and swelling) of the eye due to allergy or after Lasik surgery. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not use Fluorometholone for more than the prescribed duration as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection. It acts mainly on the surface of the eye and does not increase eye pressure as much as other steroid medications. May require frequent follow ups with the doctor to monitor side effects. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
