How to use Neomycin
This medicine is for external use only. Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area before application and do not rub.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ecotor F Tablet is to be taken with food.

Neomycin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
How Ecotor F Tablet works
Ecotor F Tablet is a combination of two lipid-lowering medicines: Atorvastatin and fenofibrate. Atorvastatin prevents your body from making "bad" cholesterol (LDL) while fenofibrate works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in your blood. Both raise the levels of “good†cholesterol (HDL).

Expert advice for Neomycin
For oral tablets:
Neomycin tablets are not recommended for children below six year of age.
Some patients (infants, elderly, obese and cystic fibrosis [genetic disorder that affects lungs] patients) may require monitoring of neomycin levels in blood to prevent damage to the ear and kidneys.
Caution is advised in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease or any disease characterized by muscle weakness, or in patients about to receive general anesthesia.
Caution is also advised in patients who are exposed to loud noise, or patients who have been dehydrated due to diarrhea or vomiting.
