Etifem 200mg Tablet is used in the treatment of osteoporosisThis disease mostly occurs in women after menopause, but can sometimes be seen in men. It can also occur in patients receiving steroids.

How to use Etifem Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Etifem 200mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

How Etifem Tablet works
Etifem 200mg Tablet is a bisphosphonate. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause the destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.

Common Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Headache, Heartburn, Difficulty in swallowing.

Take Etifem in the morning on an empty stomach with water. Do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after taking Etifem. Maintain an upright posture for 30 minutes after taking Etifem. Inform your doctor if you are about to undergo any major dental procedures, as Etifem may need to be discontinued temporarily.
