Uses of Epleran Tablet
Epleran 25mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and oedema.It treats oedema (fluid overload) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease.

How to use Epleran Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epleran 25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Epleran Tablet works
Epleran 25mg Tablet is a potassium-sparing diuretic. It lowers blood pressure and swelling by removing the extra water and electrolytes from the body without loss of potassium.

Side Effects:

Common Dizziness, Diarrhoea, Nausea, Cough, Flu-like symptoms, Fatigue, Increased potassium level in blood, Increased creatinine level in blood.

Avoid potassium-rich supplements or salt substitutes when taking Epleran. Notify your doctor if you experience dizziness, diarrhoea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, swelling in feet, or difficulty breathing. It is important to get blood pressure and potassium levels checked regularly when taking Epleran. Do not take medicines such as ketoconazole, clarithromycin, nefazodone, ritonavir, and nelfinavir along with Epleran.
