How to use Epalrica-M Tablet SR
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Epalrica-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Epalrica-M Tablet works
Epalrica-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and methylcobalamin which treat diabetic nerve disease. Epalrestat is an anti-diabetic medication. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which has been related in causing diabetic nerve disease. Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B which helps in the production of myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and rejuvenates damaged nerve cells.
