Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.It should be wiped off thoroughly prior to nursing if it is being applied to the breast or nipple area.
It is not known whether Estocin 10mg Eye Ointment alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

How to use Estocin Eye Ointment
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the tube close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
How Estocin Eye Ointment works
Estocin 10mg Eye Ointment belongs to a class of medications called as macrolide antibiotics. It works by interfering with formation of essential protein (protein synthesis) thereby preventing the bacteria from growing and reproducing.
