How to use Mucomelt Forte Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

How Mucomelt Forte Tablet works
Mucomelt Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and acetylcysteine which treat mucus (phlegm) caused by bacterial infection. Cefixime is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human body. Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) making it easier to cough out.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach upset, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Indigestion, Flatulence, Rash, Fever.
