Lactation

Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney

Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.

How to use Formosone Respicap
Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap works
Formosone 6mcg/100mcg Respicap is a combination of two medicines: Formoterol and Fluticasone. Formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Fluticasone is a steroid which stops the release of certain natural substances that cause inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Upper respiratory tract infection, Fungal infections in the mouth, Pharyngitis, Bronchitis, Headache, Hoarseness of voice, Sore throat, Cough, Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Increased heart rate.
