Torkast-FX Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Torkast-FX Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Torkast-FX Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Torkast-FX Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Torkast-FX Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Torkast-FX Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.May cause excessive sleepiness in patients with end stage kidney disease.
Torkast-FX Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Torkast-FX Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.

Torkast-FX Tablet is used in the treatment of stuffy and runny nose due to allergies.
How to use Torkast-FX Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Torkast-FX Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Torkast-FX Tablet works
Torkast-FX Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Montelukast and Fexofenadine which decrease the frequency of asthma attacks and relieve the symptoms of allergies. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms. Fexofenadine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Headache, Drowsiness, Dizziness.
