Metformin (1mg) + Glimepiride (500mg) + Atorvastatin (10mg)

CAUTION
Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.

Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. These patients can experience very low blood sugar levels which may become normal after a long time.
CAUTION

How to use Glycovas LD Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
How Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet works
Glycovas LD 1 mg/500 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Metformin, glimepiride and atorvastatin. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Glimepiride is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL).
Common Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar level), Nausea, Altered taste, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Headache, Weakness, Muscle pain, Increased liver enzymes, Upper respiratory tract infection.
