Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Mycopas Granules can cause fits, mental health problems and optic neuritis (inflammation of the optic nerve that may cause loss of vision.) This may affect your driving ability.

Uses of Mycopas Granules
Mycopas Granules is used in the treatment of tuberculosis.

How to use Mycopas Granules
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. Mycopas Granules is to be taken empty stomach.Avoid Mycopas Granules with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

How Mycopas Granules works
Mycopas Granules is a combination of two medicines: Sodium aminosalicylate and isoniazid which treat tuberculosis. Sodium aminosalicylate stops bacteria causing TB from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for their multiplication. Isoniazid prevents the TB bacteria from forming their own protective covering. This kills the bacteria and eradicates the infection.

Side Effects:

Common Rash, Fever, Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), Increased liver enzymes, Jaundice.
