Galamer OD 8mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Galamer OD 8mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Galamer OD 8mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Galamer OD 8mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.However, use of this medicine is not recommended in patients with end-stage kidney disease.

How to use Galamer Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Galamer OD 8mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
How Galamer Tablet works
Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease is due to disturbance of message signals in the brain. Galamer OD 8mg Tablet works by increasing the levels of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger involved in the transmission of nerve signals.

Consult your doctor if you have any heart disorder, electrolyte disturbances, peptic (stomach) ulcer disease, acute abdominal pain, a disorder of the nervous system (like fits or Parkinson’s disease), asthma, pneumonia, difficulties passing urine, or if you had an operation on the gut or bladder.
Do not drive or operate machinery as galantamine may cause drowsiness.
Do not consume alcohol while taking galantamine as it may worsen the side effects.
Galantamine should be used with caution in elderly as they may be more sensitive to its effects.
Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
