Hep 25 Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Hep 25 Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.Hep 25 Injection is released in small amounts in the breast milk and amounts reaching the baby are also small, which would not be expected to cause any harmful effects to the baby.
Hep 25 Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Hep 25 Injection is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Hep 25 Injection is recommended.However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of Hep 25 Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Hep 25 Injection is an anticoagulant that prevents the formation of harmful blood clots.

Do not heparin if you are sensitive to heparin or any other ingredients of the drug.
Avoid using heparin are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not heparin if you are already taking aspirin or other blood thinner medications.
Tell your doctor if your injury or illness does not improve, or gets worse after heparin treatment.

Hep affects INR (used to monitor the effectiveness of the anticoagulant), and PTT (blood test determines the blood clotting time), It may cause reduced blood platelet count
