Hexidol 10mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.If Hexidol 10mg Tablet is used, monitor the baby for excessive sleepiness.
Hexidol 10mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Hexidol 10mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Hexidol 10mg Tablet is recommended.However, patients with severe kidney disease may need to be started at a lower dose as it may cause excessive sleepiness in these patients.
Hexidol 10mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Hexidol 10mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Hexidol Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Hexidol 10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Hexidol 10mg Tablet is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.

Do not take haloperidol, if you have irregular heart beat (arrhythmia) or unusually slow heart beat.
Do not use haloperidol, if you have Parkinson’s disease; low white blood cells levels.
Avoid using haloperidol, if you have liver or kidney disease, fits, depression, problems with your thyroid gland, a non-cancerous tumour of the adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma; causing episodic or persistent rise in blood pressure).
Do not drive or opeate heavy machinery as haloperidol can make you sleepy and impair your alertness.
