CAUTION
Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function test, and potassium levels is recommended while you are taking this medicine.
CAUTION
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Tenam HT Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet works
Tenam HT 10 mg/25 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Enalapril and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Enalapril is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reducing stress on the heart and relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body. Over time it also relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
