How to use Cyproheptadine
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Lycyp Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Cyproheptadine is an antihistaminic medication. It blocks the action of certain chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation, congestion, itching, and other allergic reactions.

How Ultravist Injection works
Iopromide belongs to a class of drugs known as Iodinated radiographic contrast agent. It enhances imaging due to its high Iodine content attenuating the beam of X-rays during examination.

Common Sleepiness.

Common Headache, Altered taste, Vomiting, Chest pain, Injection site pain, Back pain, Nausea, Infusion site reaction, Abnormal vision, Decreased blood pressure, Frequent urge to urinate.

Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Cyproheptadine, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.

• Always keep yourself hydrated before administration of any contrast media to prevent any kidney damage due to dehydration. 
• Do not administer iopromide intrathecal (within the layers of spine).
• Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney or heart disease or if you had reactions to previous injections of Iopromide used for x-ray procedures.
• Inform your doctor if you are diabetic or if you have cancer, pheochromocytoma (adrenal gland tumor), blood disorder (Sickle cell anemia) or thyroid disorder or if you have a history of fits (epilepsy) or any blood clotting problems.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
• Patients allergic to iopromide or any of its ingredients should not take it.
• Children who have been administered a laxative or are dehydrated due to prolonged fasting should not take iopromide.
