Thrombiflo 40mg Injection is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Thrombiflo 40mg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.Thrombiflo 40mg Injection is released in small amounts in the breast milk and amounts reaching the baby are also small, which would not be expected to cause any harmful effects to the baby.

CAUTION
Thrombiflo 40mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Thrombiflo 40mg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
There is limited information available on the use of Thrombiflo 40mg Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.However, cautious use is advised in patients with underlying liver disease.

Thrombiflo 40mg Injection is an anticoagulant that prevents the formation of harmful blood clots.

Expert advice for Thrombiflo Injection
For best results, take Thrombiflo at the same time every day. Thrombiflo should be injected under the skin of the abdomen. Thrombiflo increases your risk of bleeding. Be careful while shaving, cutting fingernails or toenails, or using sharp objects. Does not require regular blood tests. Notify your doctor if there is bleeding from gums, nose, or wounds that last more than 15 minutes, or if blood appears in urine, stool or vomit. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor.

Thrombiflo increases the INR values (International normalized ratio; defines how long it takes for blood to clot when on anticoagulant therapy versus normal time) Partial thromboplastin time (PTT) or activated PTT (APTT) or platelets are not affected by Thrombiflo.
