Rebif 44mcg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Rebif 44mcg Injection is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Rebif 44mcg Injection may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney

Rebif 44mcg Injection should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rebif 44mcg Injection may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Rebif 44mcg Injection modulates the body's immune system.

Side Effects:

Common Headache, Sweating, Fever, Chills, Flu-like symptoms.

Expert advice for Rebif Injection
• You will be regularly monitored with lab tests for liver function, thyroid function and blood cell count.
• Inform your doctor if you have history of liver related issues, blood problem (anaemia, bleeding or blood clots), bone marrow depression, heart disease, seizures (fits/convulsions), alcohol addiction, depression or suicidal thoughts.
• Seek medical attention if you notice symptoms of depression or have suicidal behaviour.
• Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
• Interferon beta 1A should not be given to patients who are allergic to Interferon Beta 1A or any of other Interferon Beta products or to human albumin.
