Pentavac SD Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Pentavac SD Injection is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
It is not known whether Pentavac SD Injection alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

• For DPT vaccine, always follow the compulsory schedule of 5 doses starting from 6 weeks age of a child.Inform your doctor, if you have taken diphtheria toxoid vaccine within 5 years.

• Should not be given to patients with acute severe illness with high fever.
• Should not be given to patients with a history of severe allergic reaction after vaccination with any other diphtheria toxoid-containing vaccines.
