Uses of Jolivel Tablet
Jolivel 50mg Tablet is used in the treatment of anxiety disorderIt treats generalised anxiety disorder and somatic disturbances.

How to use Jolivel Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Jolivel 50mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Jolivel Tablet works
Jolivel 50mg Tablet increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating mood and treat depression.

Side Effects:

Common Nasal congestion, Fatigue, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dryness in mouth, Decreased blood pressure.

Expert advice for Jolivel Tablet
Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while on opipramol treatment as it may cause drowsiness and reduce alertness.


Do not take opipramol if you have enlarged prostate gland, painful urination, liver and kidney diseases, recurrent fits due to any cause or heart disease.
Discontinue treatment and seek immediate medical attention if you develop any allergic reactions.
You should undergo routine blood cell count and liver function tests while receiving long term treatment with opipramol.
If you are a patient with heart blocks or other conduction disorders, you should be frequently monitored with ECG.
