K Lock Sachet is used in the treatment of increased potassium levels in bloodIt is used in patients with kidney problems and on dialysis.

How to use K Lock Sachet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Empty the granules in a glass of water/milk, stir it and consume immediately. K Lock Sachet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How K Lock Sachet works
K Lock Sachet binds with excess potassium which is excreted in the feces, decreasing the potassium levels in the blood.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Decreased potassium level in blood, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Increased calcium level in blood.

Expert advice for K Lock Sachet

Do not use magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia) or sorbitol along with polystyrene sulfonate.
Do not use if you have low potassium levels in blood.
Do not use in patients with risk of developing constipation or impaction (bowel blockage).
Doctor’s advice should be considered in case of disease conditions such as severe congestive heart failure, severe high blood pressure, and kidney disease or marked swelling.
Inform your doctor if you are on sodium-restricted diet.
