CAUTION
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
PROBABLY SAFE
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.

Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of nasal allergy symptoms.
How to use Teklast LV Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet works
Teklast LV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Montelukast which relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Fatigue, Sleepiness.
