Linid OD Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Linid OD Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Linid OD Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
SAFE
Linid OD Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Linid OD Tablet is recommended.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Linid OD Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Linid OD Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Linid OD Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Uses of Linid Tablet
Linid OD Tablet is used in the treatment of serious bacterial infectionsIt is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), and some infections in or under the skin.
How to use Linid Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Linid OD Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Linid OD Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Linid OD Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Your doctor has prescribed Linid to cure your infection and improve symptoms. It is better to take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Avoid high amounts of cheese, alcohol, or soy sauce when taking Linid because it can raise your blood pressure to a dangerous level.
