CAUTION
Lecope-M Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
PROBABLY SAFE
Lecope-M Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Lecope-M Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lecope-M Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Lecope-M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Lecope-M Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Lecope-M Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Lecope-M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lecope-M Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Limited information is available on the use of Lecope-M Tablet in these patients. No dose adjustment is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease.
Uses of Lecope-M Tablet
Lecope-M Tablet is used in the treatment of nasal allergy symptoms.
How to use Lecope-M Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lecope-M Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Lecope-M Tablet works
Lecope-M Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Montelukast which relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms.
Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Skin rash, Flu-like symptoms, Fatigue, Sleepiness.
