CAUTION
Taking metformin with alcohol can cause lactic acidosis and you may experience malaise, respiratory distress, slow or irregular heartbeat, sleepiness, stomach upset, or other unusual symptoms.

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is low or high. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.
CAUTION
Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is generally started with low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

How to use Tenebite-M Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is to be taken with food.Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
How Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet works
Tenebite-M 500mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin and teneligliptin. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin.Teneligliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor which works by increasing the release of insulin from pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces both fasting and postmeal sugar levels. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.
Common Nausea, Altered taste, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite, Headache, Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar level) in combination with insulin or sulphonylurea, Upper respiratory tract infection, Nasopharyngitis.
