Sofarin 5mg Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Sofarin 5mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Uses of Sofarin Tablet
Sofarin 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism.It is also used after artificial heart valve implantation.
How to use Sofarin Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Sofarin 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Sofarin 5mg Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.

Sofarin 5mg Tablet is an oral anticoagulant. It acts by preventing the formation of blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it inhibits them from growing larger and causing serious problems.

If you are going to have a surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Sofarin temporarily. Sofarin should not be used in the pregnancy. You may breastfeed.
