Mintel Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Mintel Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Mintel Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Mintel Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
CAUTION
Mintel Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Mintel Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Inform your doctor if you develop signs of jaundice like yellowing of eyes and skin, itching, and clay colored stools while taking this medicine.

How to use Motesol Cream

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mintel Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Mintel is used for the treatment of infections caused by helminths (worms) like Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm/threadworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworm), Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus (hookworms), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), Strongyloides stercoralis, animal hookworm larvae causing cutaneous larva migrans, and Opisthorchis viverrini (liver flukes) and Clonorchis sinensis. It is also indicated for the treatment of Hymenolepis nana and Taenia spp. (tapeworm) infections and has shown good activity against anaerobic protozoa like Giardia lamblia and Trichomonas vaginalis. Please consult your doctor before taking any treatment for worms as there could be many worms against which Mintel would not be effective.
Q. How does Mintel work?
Mintel works by killing the larva and the adult form of the worm by inhibiting tubulin polymerization which causes energy depletion and decreases the mobility of the worm and hence kills the helminth.
Q. Can I take Mintel with fluconazole?
Mintel can be taken with fluconazole. No drug-drug interactions have been reported between the two. However, interactions can occur. Please consult your doctor before taking the two medicines together.

Q. Is Mintel effective for treating pinworms?
