Montu-L Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Montu-L Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Montu-L Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
CAUTION
Montu-L Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Montu-L Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Montu-L Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

How Montu-L Tablet works
Montu-L Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Levocetirizine and Montelukast which relieve the symptoms of allergic rhinitis. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which treats allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist. It works by blocking the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This reduces inflammation in the airways and nose, and improves your symptoms.
