Megadine M Ointment may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Megadine M Ointment is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.The baby's skin should not come into direct contact with the treated area of skin. Water-miscible cream/gel is preferred as ointments may expose the baby to harmful effects of Megadine M Ointment via licking.

Do not engage in vaginal intercourse while on treatment with metronidazole intravaginal gel.
Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and wear protective clothing, sunglasses or apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun as this drug may increase the sensitivity to sunlight.
Avoid direct contact of cream with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water immediately and seek immediate medical attention.
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
It should not take if patient is allergic to metronidazole or any of its ingredients.

It may be taken before or after meals. If Tremoxyl causes your mouth to dry excessively, it may be better to take it before meals, unless it causes nausea. If taken after meals, thirst can be improved by sucking hard sugarless candy, chewing gum, or drinking water. Inform your doctor if you are taking any medicines to treat glaucoma. Tremoxyl can cause blurred vision or dizziness. Do not drive and or operate machinery if you get blurred vision or dizziness. Inform your doctor if you have trouble in passing urine. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
