Uses of Orlip X Tablet
Orlip X 120mg Tablet is used in obesityIt should be taken along with a low-calorie diet.
How to use Orlip X Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Orlip X 120mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Avoid Orlip X 120mg Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.
How Orlip X Tablet works
Orlip X 120mg Tablet is a lipase inhibitor. It works in the stomach and small intestine by blocking the absorption of fat from food by blocking enzymes responsible for the breakdown of fat.
Common Abdominal pain, Fat in stool , Bowel incontinence, Flatus with discharge, Oily spotting, Diarrhoea, Abdominal cramp, Flatulence, Soft stools.

Orlip x is available in India with the brand names Orlean, Vyfat, Lipocut, Olistat, Obelit, Orlica, Reeshape, Xenical and Zerofat
Q. Is Orlip x safe and effective?
Orlip x is safe and effective if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor
Q. Is Orlip x available without prescription?
Orlip x as Alli is available without prescription but Xenical is available only with prescription. Always consult your doctor regarding its use
Q. How long can I take Orlip x?
Therapy should not continue for more than 6 months along with diet and exercise. If the patient does not lose weight in 12 weeks he/she should consult the doctor and follow his advice
Q. Can I take Orlistat with anti-depressants, antibiotics, gabapentine, levothyroxine, venlafaxine, metformin, raspberry ketones?
All these drugs are known to have some drug-drug interactions with Orlistat and hence should be taken together only based on doctor's recommendation
Q. Does Orlip x burn existing fat or reduce appetite?
Orlip x prevents absorption of fat from the food in the intestine. It does not burn fat. Orlip x may cause reduction of appetite
Q. Does Orlip x affect the liver or cause cancer?
No studies of Orlip x affecting the liver or causing cancer have been reported.
