Lactation

Selomax 50/5 Tablet ER is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Selomax 50/5 Tablet ER may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

How to use Selomax Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Selomax 50/5 Tablet ER is to be taken with food.

How Selomax 50/5 Tablet ER works
Selomax 50/5 Tablet ER is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and metoprolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Constipation, Edema, Headache, Weakness, Dizziness, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Cold extremities, Numbness of extremity, Decreased blood pressure, Slow heart rate.
