Modalert 100mg Tablet is used in the treatment of narcolepsy.

How to use Modalert Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Modalert 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Modalert Tablet works
Modalert 100mg Tablet modulates the levels of chemical messengers in the brain and exerts a stimulant effect to reduce extreme sleepiness.

Common Headache, Nausea, Nervousness, Anxiety, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Palpitations, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Sleepiness, Abdominal pain, Irritability, Dyspepsia, Increased liver enzymes, Abnormal thoughts, Depression, Tachycardia, Decreased appetite, Diarrhoea, Confusion, Constipation.

Take the drug about 1 hour before you need to be fully alert.
Limit intake of caeffine.
Do not stop the drug suddenly as you can get withdrawl symptoms.
Do not drink alcohol whil taking this drug.
