Mergox Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

CAUTION
Lactation
CAUTION

Mergox Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

It is not known whether Mergox Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

There is limited information available on the use of Mergox Tablet in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

There is limited information available on the use of Mergox Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Mergox Tablet
Mergox Tablet is used in induction of labour and post-delivery bleeding.

How to use Mergox Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mergox Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Mergox Tablet works
Mergox Tablet stimulates contraction of the uterine muscles during delivery. It also helps to control post-delivery bleeding from the placenta.

Side Effects:

Common Headache, Increased heart rate, Vomiting, Nausea, Slow heart rate.
