Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER can make you feel dizzy or drowsy especially at the start of treatment. If you are affected in this way, or if your eyesight is affected, you should not drive.
Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Zen Tablet ER
Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER is used in the treatment of seizures, trigeminal neuralgia and mania.
How to use Zen Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Zen Tablet ER works
Zen Retard 200mg Tablet ER is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Common Skin rash, Nausea, Vomiting, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Fatigue, Coordination impaired, Decreased white blood cell count.

Zen is safe if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor

Q. Does Zen cause weight loss or weight gain/ hyponatremia/ help anxiety/depression/ gingival hyperplasia make you tired/ cause high blood pressure?
Zen causing the above mentioned side effects are commonly or rarely observed. It is not known to cause gingival hyperplasia and high blood pressure. Please consult your doctor if you experience such side effects.
