Uses of Neopred Tablet
Neopred 20mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.

How to use Neopred Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Neopred 20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Neopred Tablet works
Neopred 20mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Skin rash, Balance disorder (loss of balance), Hearing loss.

Expert advice for Neopred Tablet
For oral tablets:

Neomycin tablets are not recommended for children below six year of age.
Some patients (infants, elderly, obese and cystic fibrosis [genetic disorder that affects lungs] patients) may require monitoring of neomycin levels in blood to prevent damage to the ear and kidneys.
Caution is advised in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease or any disease characterized by muscle weakness, or in patients about to receive general anesthesia.
Caution is also advised in patients who are exposed to loud noise, or patients who have been dehydrated due to diarrhea or vomiting.
