Lactation

Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.

Kidney

Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of hypertension.

How to use Natrilam Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet works
Natrilam 2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and indapamide which lower blood pressure effectively. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which relaxes blood vessels and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Indapamide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Stomach pain, Headache, Dizziness, Sleepiness, Fatigue, Palpitations, Ankle swelling, Edema, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Increased blood uric acid, Decreased potassium level in blood, Glucose intolerance, Altered blood lipids.
