How to use Sulphacetamide / Sulfacetamide

How Nebaspor Powder works
Sulphacetamide / Sulfacetamide is an antibiotic. It stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Skin rash, Allergic reaction.

Expert advice for Sulphacetamide / Sulfacetamide

Do not use if the sulphacetamide solution changes color.
Seek immediate medical attention is you experience signs of a secondary infection, as long-term or repeated use of sulfacetamide drops may trigger the same. 
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any allergic symptoms such as rash, red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin.
Avoid direct contact with the applicator tip to prevent any contamination. Keep the container tightly closed.
Do not drive or use any machinery after taking sulphacetamide as it may blurred the vision.

Neomycin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Common Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Skin rash, Balance disorder (loss of balance), Hearing loss.

Expert advice for Neomycin
For oral tablets:

Neomycin tablets are not recommended for children below six year of age.
Some patients (infants, elderly, obese and cystic fibrosis [genetic disorder that affects lungs] patients) may require monitoring of neomycin levels in blood to prevent damage to the ear and kidneys.
Caution is advised in patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease or any disease characterized by muscle weakness, or in patients about to receive general anesthesia.
Caution is also advised in patients who are exposed to loud noise, or patients who have been dehydrated due to diarrhea or vomiting.

Clean and dry the site of infection before applying bacitracin. Application should be done by spreading the medication on the affected area forming a uniform film, preferably at same time of the day every day.
Ensure that you complete the duration of treatment as advised by your doctor.
Before you take bacitracin, inform your doctor if have /are being treated for kidney disease or have hearing problems.
Seek immediate medical attention if you develop any severe allergic reactions.
