Uses of Povimed Plus Ointment
Povimed Plus 1% w/w Ointment is used in the treatment of bacterial skin infectionsIt is used in vaginal infections.

How to use Povimed Plus Ointment
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

How Povimed Plus Ointment works
Povimed Plus 1% w/w Ointment is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA.

Common Skin redness, Dryness, Burn, Irritation, Stinging sensation.

Expert advice for Povimed Plus Ointment

Talk to your doctor if you are taking any prescription drugs, especially drugs used for thinning of blood such as warfarin.
Avoid direct contact of cream/ solution/ powder with your eyes. In case of direct contact, wash your eyes with water and seek immediate medical attention. 
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not use if you are allergic to tinidazole or any of its ingredients.
