Potrate 5 Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.If mother is taking Potrate 5 Tablet observe the baby for diarrhea and check the blood potassium concentrations periodically.

Potrate 5 Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Potrate 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Potrate 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Potrate 5 Tablet may not be advised in patients with severe kidney disease.

There is limited information available on the use of Potrate 5 Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
