Plasmorid Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Plasmorid Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Plasmorid Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Uses of Artemether
Artemether is used in the treatment of malariaIt is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe malaria (where it has affected the brain, lungs or kidneys).
How to use Artemether
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Plasmorid Tablet is to be taken with food.

Artemether acts by producing free radicals within the malarial parasite, which kills it.
Common Decreased appetite, Headache, Vomiting, Abdominal pain, Cough.
