Relinase 0.25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Relinase 0.25mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.If Relinase 0.25mg Tablet is used, monitor the baby for excessive sleepiness.
Relinase 0.25mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Relinase 0.25mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Relinase 0.25mg Tablet is recommended.However, patients with severe kidney disease may need to be started at a lower dose as it may cause excessive sleepiness in these patients.
Relinase 0.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Relinase 0.25mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

How to use Relinase Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Relinase 0.25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Relinase 0.25mg Tablet is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.

Do not start or continue haloperidol, if you are allergic to haloperidol or any other ingrediants in the formulation.
Do not take haloperidol, if you have irregular heart beat (arrhythmia) or unusually slow heart beat.
Do not use haloperidol, if you have Parkinson’s disease; low white blood cells levels.
Avoid using haloperidol, if you have liver or kidney disease, fits, depression, problems with your thyroid gland, a non-cancerous tumour of the adrenal gland (phaeochromocytoma; causing episodic or persistent rise in blood pressure).
Do not drive or opeate heavy machinery as haloperidol can make you sleepy and impair your alertness.
