Repam 5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Repam 5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.Repam 5mg Tablet should be used for short periods and sleepiness of the baby should be watched. The withdrawal of Repam 5mg Tablet should be gradual.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Repam 5mg Tablet can make you sleepy, forgetful, and have poor co-ordination. This may affect your ability to drive.
Repam 5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Repam 5mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Dose adjustment may be required if it is to be given for a long period

How to use Repam Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Repam 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Repam Tablet works
Repam 5mg Tablet is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
