How to use Phenylpropanolamine
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Restcof Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.Take it with food if stomach upset occurs.Avoid Restcof Syrup with caffeine and chocolate as well as food containing caffeine and chocolate such as tea leaves, cocoa beans.

How Retain Injection works
Retain Injection is a progestin (female hormones). It works as part of hormone replacement therapy by replacing the amount of oestrogen in the uterus. It works to bring on menstruation by replacing the natural progesterone that some women are missing.

Do not continue phenylpropanolamine for more than 7 days if your condition does not improve or if you have high fever.
Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart problems, liver or kidney disease, diabetes, prostate enlargement or visual problems due to increased pressure in the eyes (glaucoma).
Seek immediate medical attention and discontinue medication if you experience difficulty in breathing, sudden swelling or skin reactions, fits, rapid heartbeat or hallucinations.
Use with caution if you are a woman or an elderly patient. Woman may be at a higher risk of haemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain).
Avoid driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy or drowsy after taking phenylpropanolamine.

Tell your doctor if you have diabetes, pre-diabetes (high blood sugar levels, but not high enough to be called diabetes) or a family history of diabetes, before taking hydroxyprogesterone.If you are suffering from high blood pressure during pregnancy (preeclampsia), fits (epilepsy), heart or kidney functioning problems, you should be monitored for fluid retention while on treatment with Hydroxyprogesterone.Tell your doctor if you have severe pulsating headaches (migraines), asthma, history of depression or high blood pressure (hypertension), before taking Hydroxyprogesterone.Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any signs of depression or jaundice.Consult your doctor regarding continuing treatment with hydroxyprogesterone after delivery and during breastfeeding.
