How to use Rupameg Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rupameg 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Rupameg 5mg Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney or liver impairment, having porphyria (this is a rare inherited blood disorder), ever had an allergic reaction to another antihistamine, or to any other medicine, in elderly, and in children less than 12 years.
Do not drive or operate machinery as rupatadine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. 
Do not drink alcohol while taking rupatadine, as it may worsen the side effects.
Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant.
