Rescof Syrup is used in the treatment of cough.

How to use Rescof Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Rescof Syrup is to be taken with food.

How Rescof Syrup works
Rescof Syrup thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

Expert advice for Rescof Syrup

Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol if you have a history of severe allergic reactions of skin (Stevens-Johnson syndrome or Lyell syndrome).
Do not continue taking ambroxol and contact your doctor immediately, if you notice any damage to skin or mucosa (moist tissue that lines the inner side of nose, mouth, lungs, and the urinary and digestive tracts). 
Avoid taking drugs that suppress cough (antitussives) if you are taking ambroxol.
Do consult your doctor before taking ambroxol, if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.

Severe liver or kidney problems. You may need dose reduction or extension of dosing interval.
