Viscodyne Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Viscodyne Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

It is not known whether Viscodyne Syrup alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

How to use Viscodyne Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use.
How Viscodyne Syrup works
Viscodyne Syrup is a combination of four medicines: Ambroxol, Desloratadine, Guaifenesin and Menthol which relieve cold symptoms. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Desloratidine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which works by decreasing the stickiness of airway secretions and helps in their removal from the airways. Menthol is an organic compound which produces a sensation of coolness and relieves minor throat irritation.
Common Nausea, Dryness in mouth, Diarrhoea, Stomach discomfort, Vomiting, Allergic reaction, Fatigue, Headache, Dizziness, Rash, Urticaria.
