CAUTION
Taking Hydrochlorothiazide with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
CAUTION
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL is used in the treatment of hypertension.
How to use Starpress-H Tablet XL
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL works
Starpress-H 25mg/12.5mg Tablet XL is a combination of two medicines: Metoprolol and hydrochlorothiazide that help control your blood pressure. Metoprolol is a beta blocker that lowers your heart rate. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that removes extra water and certain electrolytes from your body. This also reduces the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
