Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Lactation

Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving

Do not drive unless you are feeling well.Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup may cause side effects such as dizziness, increased or uneven heart rate, muscle cramps or muscle pain. This may affect your ability to drive.

Uses of Salbusun Syrup
Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup is used in the treatment of asthma.

How to use Salbusun Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup works
Salbusun 2 mg/100 mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Salbutamol and guaifenesin. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm) and helps in its removal from the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.

Side Effects:

Common Nausea, Diarrhoea, Stomach pain, Vomiting, Dizziness, Headache, Rash, Urticaria, Tremor, Palpitations, Muscle cramp.
