Zonaxid 100mg/5ml Suspension may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Uses of Zonaxid Suspension
Zonaxid 100mg/5ml Suspension is used in the treatment of diarrhoea and parasitic worm infections.

How to use Zonaxid Suspension
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Zonaxid 100mg/5ml Suspension is to be taken with food.

How Zonaxid Suspension works
Nitazoxanide belongs to the class of medications called antiparasitic and antiviral agents. It inhibits the production of certain chemicals and substances essential for energy metabolism and growth of the parasite.

Side Effects:

Common Headache, Nausea, Fever, Hair loss, Vomiting, Abnormal liver function tests, Dizziness, Abdominal pain, Vertigo.

Expert advice for Zonaxid Suspension
• Nitazoxanide should always be taken with food.
• Tell your doctor if you are suffering from liver disease; kidney disease; or HIV infection or problems related to immune system.
• Caution to be exercised if you are more than 65 years.
• Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
• Patients allergic to nitazoxanide or any of its ingredients should not take it. 
• Do not give it to patients with
